Elaine Dezenski is a senior advisor to Blank Slate Technologies with more than two decades of experience in government, international organizations, and the private sector. She has held senior positions at the World Economic Forum, INTERPOL, Crossmatch Technologies, the U.S Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and Siemens Corporation. Since 2019 she has served on TSA’s Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC) and leads the Air Cargo Subcommittee.
Alissa is Blank Slate's product designer. In this role, Alissa leads the design of the app experience from ideation to iOS launch with a human-centered approach. She is also part of the UX research process for diverse digital products. Prior to Blank Slate, she was a UX consultant and exhibition designer for museums. Alissa holds a master's degree from Pratt Institute, with a specialization in UX design, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture. Alissa enjoys pottery classes and reading.
Aparna is a tech enthusiast passionate about building customer-centric products that are inclusive, empowering, and driven by data. At Blank Slate, she currently leads product development and go-to market strategy for Braintrust - our product aimed at helping people with Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. An engineer and MBA by qualification, she has a background in data science, consulting and assistive technology design from roles at Microsoft and Deloitte. Her other interests include being an amateur ukulele player, passionate cinephile and professional classical Indian dancer.
Amy is a cognitive scientist who specializes in the influences of technology, aging, and stress on human memory. At Blank Slate, Amy leads our product research, experimental research, and data science efforts. Prior to becoming our CSO, Amy held appointments as a tenure-track professor at Quinnipiac University and a Research Scientist for the Center for Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences at Tufts University and the U.S. Army CCDC in Natick, Massachusetts. In addition to studying the human mind, Amy enjoys any combination of: dogs, hikes, singing, dark comedy, learning about sleep and nutrition, and weight training.
Taylor is the co-founder and COO of Blank Slate. A recovering attorney with expertise in tax, Taylor established, administered, and taught at a law school in Afghanistan, and spent several years as a government budget analyst. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (SB) and Georgetown University (JD). His better half is a Grammy-nominated classical vocal soloist, he can’t quit following the Chicago White Sox despite their best efforts, and is the proud dad of a seven-year old charmer.
Matt is the Founder and CEO of Blank Slate, and leads overall direction and strategy for the firm. Prior to Blank Slate, he was the co-founder of two other firms, one focused on clinician burnout and the other on monitoring and evaluation in international development. An avid rower, he has competed for and coached at top-ranked Division 1 programs and enjoys reading and studying languages in his spare time.
Michele Freadman, CPP, is the founder of M. Freadman Consulting, LLC, consulting on security program development, policy creation, regulatory compliance, and implementing industry-driven applied research for airport operators.
Michele is the retired Deputy Director of Aviation Security Programs for the
Massachusetts Port Authority (MASSPORT). In her 18-year tenure at MASSPORT through 2021, she directed the development, implementation, management and administration of aviation security programs, policies, and initiatives. Prior roles included Deputy Director of Aviation Security Operations, the Airport Security Coordinator for Boston Logan International Airport, and the Deputy Director of Corporate Security. In these roles, she implemented innovative and nationally recognized programs to enhance aviation security.
Michele has a distinguished record serving on and contributing to National Committees in the space of Transportation and Aviation Security. Michele currently serves on the TSA Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC), a statutory committee which advises the TSA Administrator on aviation security matters, and is the Industry Co-Chair of the ASAC Insider Threat Subcommittee. Michele is Past Chair of the ACI-NA Public Safety and Security (PS&S) Committee and is currently a member of PS&S Steering Group and the AAAE Transportation Security Services Committee. In her current consulting role, she supports federally funded aviation research projects including the National Safe Skies Alliance Program for Applied Research in Airport Security (PARAS) and the Airport Cooperative Research Program, (ACRP), managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies.
